Celebrating our nation’s Semiquincentennial, the Peace Jubilee Brass Band brings history alive via the unique Saxhorn sound of mid-19th century tunes as originally intended. Founded in 1994 by Alex Pollock in the spirit of Patrick Gilmore’s Great National Peace Jubilee of 1869, the band performs on antique over-the-shoulder Saxhorns and rope-tension drums, something you might only see in museums and rarely get to hear.
